Empowering Early Childhood Educators with Baby Signs® Training in Quincy, CA
We’re thrilled to share the success of a recent Baby Signs® Early Childhood Educator Training held in Quincy, California, generously sponsored by Plumas Rural Services. This engaging and impactful training brought together 37 early childhood professionals from across Plumas County and Susanville in Lassen County, all eager to learn how to support early communication through the power of signing.
The Baby Signs® Program is grounded in decades of research showing that teaching babies to use simple signs before they can talk supports language development, reduces frustration, and builds strong bonds between caregivers and children. Our Early Childhood Educator Training equips providers with practical strategies, fun activities, and research-backed tools they can use in classrooms, centers, and home-based programs.
Throughout the training, participants explored:

The benefits of using signs with infants and toddlers

Key strategies for introducing signs during daily routines

Fun, developmentally appropriate activities that build communication and connection

Tools and resources to involve families and caregivers in the signing journey
By the end of the training, every participant earned the title of Certified Baby Signs® Provider, ready to bring this powerful tool into their classrooms and care settings.
