At the Baby Signs® Program, we are dedicated to supporting parents and caregivers in nurturing their children’s growth and development. The On The Grow™ program is designed to provide comprehensive, age-appropriate classes that promote the healthy development of children from birth to 5!

Enrichment Classes from Birth to 5 Years

On The Grow™ classes offer a range of enrichment classes that cover topics and ages well beyond the focus of our traditional signing format. These 16 classes provide fun and exciting opportunities for parents and children (birth to age 5) to enjoy together. Here’s what you can expect:

Birth to 6 Months

Rumble Tumble Tummy Time™ – Importance of Tummy Time: This class emphasizes the critical role of tummy time in your baby’s physical development, helping to strengthen neck and shoulder muscles.

Baby Mind Time™ – Understanding Infant Abilities: Activities in this class are designed to support your baby’s visual development, enhancing their ability to track and focus.

Look at Me Look at You!™ – Vision Development: This class helps parents understand and support their baby’s emerging abilities, fostering early communication and bonding.

1 to 6 Years

It’s Potty Time – Potty Training: This class offers practical tips and activities to support children in the potty training process, making it a positive and stress-free experience.

Vroom & Zoom – Cooperation: This class uses fun activities to teach young children the importance of cooperation and teamwork.

Manners, Mealtime and More! – Manners: Focuses on teaching children basic manners and social etiquette, especially around mealtime.

My Outside Adventure – Fostering Independence: Encourages children to explore the outdoors, fostering a sense of independence and self-confidence.

Our Rainbow World – Beginning Classification: Teaches children to classify and categorize objects by color, shape, and size, enhancing cognitive skills.

Under The Sea: – Impulse Control: Dive into the wonders of the ocean with activities that teach children about marine life, fostering curiosity and a love for nature.

ABC Sign with Me – Early Literacy: Introduces children to the alphabet and early literacy skills using sign language to reinforce learning.

My Favorite Signs – Signing and Communication: Focuses on teaching children key signs that enhance their communication skills and support early literacy.

Move & Groove – Music and Movement: Combines music and physical activity to promote coordination, rhythm, and a love for music.

321 Count on Fun – Number Recognition and Counting: Engaging activities to introduce numbers and counting, building a foundation for mathematical skills.

Additional Classes

My Baby & Me™ – Sibling Relations: Tips and activities to help older siblings connect and bond with the new baby, promoting harmonious family dynamics.

Infant Development Workshop: Tailored for child development professionals, this workshop provides insights and techniques to support infant growth and development.

Babysitter Basics: This class is designed to give babysitters and nannies simple signs, fun activities, and more. Geared toward babysitters/childcare providers 11 years and up, participants will learn signs that will be helpful to them when babysitting and will be introduced to how the use of signs supports the development of children.
